Oregon Business magazine is looking for the best nonprofits to work for in Oregon. Which ones will it be?
Last year the winners included Family Building Blocks, Shangri-la Corporation, Mid-Valley Community Action Agency, Blanchet Catholic School and the Mid-Valley Women’s Crisis Service.
The magazine is inviting nonprofits to apply. The deadline is June 17.
“Nonprofits are an important sector in Oregon that employs more than 150,000 employees,” the magazine notes on its Web page. “To recognize that nonprofits are also key businesses critical to the economic health of the state, Oregon Business magazine launched last year its annual 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon project.”
Winners will be honored at a dinner event in Portland Sept. 28, and the magazine will feature the top 100 in its October edition.
