Levine and Horton lead grant writing seminar

Rick Horton (left) and Rick Levine delivered three hours of tips and expertise about grant writing at the MVDP meeting Sept. 22 in Albany.

Levine, a grant consultant with more than 40 years of experience, and Horton, grant writer at The Oregon Zoo Foundation with 30 years of experience, had much to share.

One person in the audience wrote on her evaluation, “Speakers very knowledgeable and easy to listen to; drew you in. Because of that the session (3 hours) seemed to fly by.”

The Ricks shared their slides with us. The PowerPoint file is stored here, and the pdf file of the slides is stored here. Also here is the score sheet to determine a project’s grantability. (Is it likely to be funded?) That file is here.
