Distinguishing your e-mail from scam and spam

There are some precautions you can take to avoid having your e-mail wind up as junk mail and not reach your audience.

Jeff Brooks offers six ways to help ensure your e-mail reaches its target:

  1. Make sure that you have clear, easy-to-find contact information in your message.
  2. A clear section about the team will help trustworthiness.
  3. Use client testimonials.
  4. Employ professional design.
  5. Make sure a secure server is used to process order information.
  6. Send relevant e-mail. Stay on the topic of your cause and how the recipient can be involved.
