Oregon grantmakers will present practical suggestions to those enrolled in a series of grant workshops beginning in January, sponsored by the Greater Jefferson Community Center.
Sessions at the Greater Jefferson Community Center are scheduled as follows:
- Jan. 12: Positioning Your Organization to be Grant Smart (presenter from The Ford Family Foundation)
- Jan. 26: Project Planning Tools and Practice, Grant Review (presenter from Spirit Mountain Community Fund)
- Feb. 9: Budgeting and Project Evaluation (presenter from The Oregon Community Foundation)
- Feb. 16: Project Evaluation and Organizational Site Visits (presenter from Rural Development Initiatives
Each session will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include lunch. The fee for the series is $75 per person. The series is open to staffers and board members of nonprofits in Marion, Polk, Linn and Benton counties.
