WVDO opens regional conference to MVDP

Willamette Valley Development Officers (WVDO) hosts its fourth regional conference for nonprofit fundraisers May 17-18 at the Governor Hotel in Portland.

Doug Stamm, executive director of the Meyer Memorial Trust, is the opening keynote speaker. The conference includes 25 peer-led workshops; a lunch talk from Darian Heyman Rodriguez, past executive director of the Craig’s List Foundation; and a “meet the funder” session with more than 25 foundations represented.

New this year is a half-day program May 18 just for executive directors. The focus will be on building community partnerships. Seating is limited.

A Raiser’s Edge training event will be held May 16 at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center in Portland.

MVDP season pass holders will be accorded the WVDO member rate for registration ($295 for the two days).
